TV Sites are similar to a website, but on TV. They are an interactive TV destination where viewers can bet, vote, shop, buy or simply get information. In fact, you can build almost any monetised interaction into TV Sites. Because TV Sites are built using existing web content, they offer a TV presence at a fraction of the cost of traditional interactive TV services.
TV Sites are built using wTVML, an XML markup language. To reach a TV Site viewers enter a simple TV Key using the remote control. For example, for TV Key ‘FLOWERS’, viewers enter 3569377. Nine million Sky subscriber homes currently have access to TV Keys and the service is being rolled out to other TV platforms. See www.tvkeys.co.uk for more.

Because we have been developing interactive TV services using wTVML for five years, we are well placed to help you get the most out of this exciting new platform.
Miniweb TV Sites combine the wide reach of mass media broadcast TV with the measurable interactivity and cost-effectiveness of the web. Because TV Sites use repurposed web content, a TV presence can be created in as little as two weeks from as low as 10 per cent of a typical red button campaign.
The Proxama Miniweb developer team was involved in developing some of the key features of Miniweb (TV technology platform behind TV Sites), and knows how to get the best from it. In addition:
