The UK Digital Experience Awards recognise and celebrate the delivery of an exceptional experience through digital media channels and Proxama were recognised for their compelling and very real story of the innovation behind their Proximity Network Solution and Loka App.
Responding to a need to re-imagine cities to combat issues such as falling footfall, failing loyalty and declining profits, Proxama deployed mobile proximity services across retail, QSR, transport and tourism sectors. Culminating in the Proxama Network, the operation utilises proximity marketing technology, including Bluetooth low energy (BLE) beacons, Near Field Communication (NFC) and QR codes. The network means that all city sectors are able to deliver contextually relevant, real-time messages to consumers’ mobiles via the company’s award winning platform, TapPoint®.
