Neil Garner, CEO & Founder

Neil founded Proxama in 2005 (then called Glue4 Technologies). The business focused on creating services that link people and brands using consumer technologies. In 2008, the company was rebranded as Proxama with a focus on the applications of mobile, smartcard and NFC technologies. Neil passionately believes in using emerging technologies to create valuable services for people. Prior to founding Proxama, Neil ran a division of a niche consultancy, Consult Hyperion, where he led the systems implementation teams for a number of ground breaking products including Vodafone’s m-Pesa, MasterCard’s PayPass, Sky and Barclaycard’s SkyCard and American Express Blue card. Neil has a MEng and DPhil from York University and is a Chartered Engineer. Any precious time at home is split between renovating an old property and enjoying life with his wife and three young children.

In his role as CFO, John is leading the development of business opportunities across the UK and North America and is responsible for guiding the business through its consolidation and growth across the proximity commerce industry.

Mike Woods, CEO of Payments Division

Mike joins Proxama following the acquisition of Aconite Technology towards the end of 2014. Having founded the card payment and security company in 2000, where he served as CEO and Chairman of the Board, and transformed Aconite into a global software solutions company with blue chip clients across, Europe, Middle East, Africa and USA.

Jon Worley, CEO of Marketing Division

Jon has over 20 years’ experience managing complex technology and business change projects across different market sectors including retail, banking and hospitality & leisure. He has a passion for helping businesses to engage more effectively with their customers and over the past 15 years has provided consultancy support to over 25 large scale loyalty initiatives in the UK and Europe. Jon joined Proxama in 2014 to lead the delivery of our mobile marketing solutions into the retail and media markets. His in-depth knowledge of customer loyalty strategy will ensure that our clients projects are successful and achieve their potential to engage customers effectively. When he is not thinking about the potential of mobile marketing solutions Jon enjoys cycling and staying active.
